Power Jet Plumbing was proud to partner with our General Contractor (GC) client in the complete plumbing installation for this brand-new, free-standing TD Bank location. Our team managed the full scope of plumbing infrastructure, including water lines, drainage systems, venting, and fixture installations, ensuring a seamless and efficient build.

From the underground groundwork to the above-ground piping and final finishing touches, we worked closely and collaboratively with the GC and construction teams to ensure that every phase was executed with precision, quality, and adherence to project timelines. Our proactive approach to scheduling, coordination, and on-site problem-solving helped keep the project on track, ensuring that the new TD Bank branch was fully operational and move-in ready without delays.

Akelius – Large-Scale Repipe Projects & Infrastructure Upgrades

Power Jet Plumbing is proud to have partnered with Akelius on some of the most complex and large-scale plumbing projects in their portfolio. Over the years, we have successfully replaced hundreds of miles of piping, completing over 10 full-building repipes across their residential high-rise communities.

Re-piping an entire occupied building is no small task, but our team met the challenge head-on, delivering precision, efficiency, and minimal disruption to tenants. Our scope of work included mains, headers, express lines, and in-suite risers, ensuring that every unit received a reliable, high-performing plumbing system with newly installed valves for future maintenance accessibility. To enhance efficiency and long-term durability, we also provided professional insulation for all new piping and passed every inspection with flying colors.

Working closely with Akelius engineers and project teams, we planned each phase with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring a smooth transition from old to new systems. Our structured approach, clear communication with property management, and expertise in high-rise plumbing solutions resulted in a project that not only met expectations but exceeded them.

Park Property – 550 Jarvis Street

At 550 Jarvis Street, Power Jet Plumbing played a crucial role in helping Park Property bring their newly acquired building up to modern standards. When they took ownership, there was no clear record of the plumbing infrastructure, and even their engineers had no definitive understanding of how the building’s systems were arranged. That’s where we stepped in.

Our team conducted a comprehensive mapping of the entire plumbing system, meticulously tracing, identifying, and documenting every pipe, riser, and connection throughout the property. Using engineer-grade drawings, we provided Park Property with a detailed schematic of their building’s water system, giving them the clarity they needed to plan for future upgrades and maintenance.

Once the mapping phase was complete, we assisted in preparing for the project’s quoting process. Confident in our understanding of the system and our ability to deliver the best solution, we submitted a competitive, cost-effective bid—and won the project.

Our team then took on the full design and installation of a new header system, providing better access to riser shut-off valves, improved serviceability, and an overall more efficient plumbing infrastructure. Every component was professionally tagged, insulated, and optimized, ensuring the building would be easier to maintain for years to come. Throughout the project, we worked seamlessly with other trades, limiting disruptions to residents and ensuring that only essential access doors were required.

The result? A perfectly executed, high-value upgrade that streamlined future maintenance, improved operational efficiency, and left both Park Property and its residents with a significantly enhanced building. High Stake for Hyatt

Hyatt Regency Toronto – Precision Booster Pump Installation

At the Hyatt Regency Toronto on King Street, Power Jet Plumbing was entrusted with the critical installation of a new booster pump, ensuring uninterrupted water pressure for this high-profile hotel. This project required precise coordination, expert planning, and flawless execution, as the entire booster pump system needed to be replaced within an extremely limited time window.

Working closely with our project partner, we orchestrated a highly synchronized effort involving a pipe freezing company, our plumbing team, electricians, and hotel management. The challenge? Fully disconnecting and replacing the existing water main booster while working with 8” grooved pipe and fittings, performing valve replacements, and executing a seamless transition—all within a few short hours.

To ensure absolute efficiency, we utilized 3D piping software to pre-design and pre-fabricate as much of the new assembly as possible before installation night. This strategic approach allowed us to minimize downtime and maximize precision when it came time for the actual swap.

At exactly 4 AM, after hours of carefully coordinated work, the new booster pump was successfully installed, energized, and commissioned—meeting the deadline flawlessly. Thanks to surgical-level planning and execution, the replacement was completed without guests or staff even realizing the change had taken place.
